Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Freshly prepared on demand. Clean with a small waiting area. Portions are fairly small yet tasty.
Love it there! Very friendly, clean, and the fish and chips are the best around!
Chicken burgers were cooked from frozen and weren't made from proper chicken, the fish wasn't that good and didn't come with any tartar sauce. I definitely won't be coming back
family size portion of chips to be just over a hand full
My friend ordered a small portion of chips and got near enough the same size as my family portion
Luck of the draw some chips are cooked some are still hard (undercooked
If u want ur food swimming in oil this be the best place
Waste of money
Staff need to learn some social skills and maybe not to look like there mum has just spanked them
Advertises £5 cod and chips outside, but when inside, you are asked the size of fish you want, and charged much more, no mention of the £5 offer. Our medium fish was very small and tasteless (in other words the same size as the small for more money), and the chips were soggy. I was a new customer, and asked for 2 portions of chips (£3.80), but there was a cheaper family size portion that would have been the same or bigger that I was not offered. These are business people who have never had fish and chips as their native dish, so do not have the expertise to cook them. The only thing good about the place was that it was clean, almost spotless, so as to highlight that as a selling point. They have adverts everywhere about the fish being special, just been caught, Marie piper potatoes etc. The fact is, that the fish and chips are substandard, and they are just after your money. Avoid at all costs.
Ordered a chip roll, the first time I ate from here was great, this time no way, oil gave me heartburn and didn't taste fresh and the chips had a funny after taste like they had been sitting there for a while same as the oil. Would not eat here again
The chicken shish is value for money. Staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean, their chips are ok, the fish needs to be meatier and their burgers taste like flip flops smothered in burger sauce and onions. Overall, an average takeaway.
Brilliant fish well cooked .chips were big portion and it was absolutely delicious.id recommend this place to everyone who likes fish chips ????????well done ✅ park lane chippy we love you ✅

Quick Facts About Park Lane Chippy

Park Lane Chippy has several strengths and weaknesses according to the comments provided. Overall, the strengths include the freshly prepared food, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the friendly staff. On the other hand, the weaknesses include small portions, inconsistent cooking of the chips, lack of tartar sauce with the fish, frozen and low-quality chicken burgers, and oils that give some customers heartburn.
Starting with the strengths, the fact that the food at Park Lane Chippy is freshly prepared on demand is a positive aspect. This implies that the food is likely to be of higher quality and gives customers the assurance that their meals are made-to-order. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant is mentioned as a strength. A clean environment is important for attracting customers and ensuring their comfort during their dining experience. Lastly, the friendly staff is seen as a strength. Having attentive and amiable employees enhances the overall customer experience and leaves a positive impression.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one of the most common complaints is the small portion sizes. While the food may be tasty, customers feel that the portions are not substantial enough. This can be seen in comments mentioning that even a small portion of chips is nearly the same size as a family portion. This is a significant weakness as it can lead to dissatisfaction and a feeling of not getting value for money.
Another weakness mentioned is the inconsistent cooking of the chips. Some customers mention that the chips are still hard and undercooked, while others complain about the chips being soggy. Inconsistency in the cooking process can be off-putting and suggests a lack of attention to detail in the preparation of the food.
Several comments also mention the absence of tartar sauce with the fish. This may seem like a minor issue, but for customers who value condiments and sauces with their meals, the lack of tartar sauce can be disappointing. It suggests a lack of attention to detail and consideration for customers' preferences.
The quality of the chicken burgers is another weakness highlighted in the comments. Multiple customers mention that the chicken burgers are frozen and don't taste like proper chicken. This indicates a lack of quality control in the sourcing and preparation of ingredients. Customers expect freshly made and high-quality burgers, so this weakness can be a major deterrent for repeat business.
Some customers also express concerns about the oils used in cooking. Several comments mention food that tastes like it has been sitting for a while or has a funny aftertaste. Additionally, some customers report experiencing heartburn due to the oil used. This suggests a need for better oil management and potentially a switch to healthier cooking alternatives.
It is worth noting that one comment mentions the value for money of the chicken shish, suggesting that some menu items may be better than others. However, it is also mentioned that the fish needs to be meatier and the burgers are not up to par. This indicates inconsistency in the quality of the food, which is another weakness.
Lastly, one comment suggests that the restaurant heavily advertises the quality of their fish and chips, claiming they use special ingredients. However, the customer's experience contradicts these claims, stating that the fish and chips are substandard. This raises concerns about false advertising and a lack of authenticity in the establishment.
In conclusion, Park Lane Chippy has some notable strengths such as freshly prepared food, a clean environment, and friendly staff. However, there are also weaknesses including small portions, inconsistent cooking of the chips, lack of tartar sauce, low-quality chicken burgers, potential issues with oil, and concerns about false advertising. These weaknesses need to be addressed in order to improve customer satisfaction and attract repeat business.
